Basque child refugees

We begin with material relating to the Basque child refugees who arrived in Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ in May 1937.? Taken from a number of oral histories and from magazines and writings of the children, these provide a picture of the journey from Bilbao to Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ, the arrival in the UK, the camp at North Stoneham, life in the "colonies" and more generally within the UK.
