The Athena Survey of Science? Engineering and Technology explores differences in the career progression? expectations and experiences of male and female scientists and creates a baseline of data against which to measure future progress.

The survey is currently being completed by UK STEMM (Science? Technology? Engineering, Medicine and Mathematics) departments. It is supported by The Royal Society? led by Imperial College and funded by HEFCE.

Individual academic and research scientists who undertake research and/or teaching or who undertake academic administrative or management activities are eligible to participate.
