On Thursday 13th October and Thursday 27th October? the Faculty of Humanities will be hosting two events as part of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载’s Black History month celebrations. On the 13th??the screenwriter Ade Solanke will be reflecting on her experiences as a writer? film editor? and broadcaster, and on the 27th, we’ll be hearing from the novelist and political journalist Delia Jarrett-Maculaey, winner of the 2005 Orwell Prize for her novel ‘Moses, Citizen & Me’. Drinks will be served from 6pm outside Lecture Theatre C in Avenue Campus before the talks begin at 6.30pm. All are welcome – please email Will May (w.may@soton.ac.uk) for more details. These events are run in conjunction with the Diverse Arts and Artists Community Association (DAACA), a local organisation set up to promote diversity in the arts.
