This exciting half–day event will showcase the challenges? pitfalls and successes of innovation and enterprise in translational medicine. A number of leading academics? industrialists and entrepreneurs will give their personal perspectives on enterprise in the healthcare arena.
16 November, 9am – 6.30pm: Translational clinical research and its impact on society

The Research Design Service will hold a lunchtime workshop on current funding opportunities and writing winning grant applications. The event concludes with the annual Wade Lecture given by Professor Pat Jacobs from the Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory.
