Many of the University’s staff population have an?additional role as a carer and incorporate this huge responsibility?into their standard working week.

Lisa Then from Student Services is collaborating with the?University’s Diversity Team to develop a Carers’ Network to support?and facilitate the working lives of colleagues who are carers, for?example, anyone looking after someone under 16 or not able to care?for themselves due to old age or disability.

If you are a carer or have an interest in working to improve the?lives of carers, please come along to the first lunchtime session at?1:00pm – 2:00pm on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 in Meeting Room 3121,?Building 37 Highfield Campus. Lunch will be provided.
