The Research?Excellence Framework (REF 2014) is the new structure for assessing?the quality of research in publicly-funded UK Higher Education?Institutions (HEIs). The code sets out the principles and processes?and that will be followed by all staff involved in the selection of?research that will be returned in REF 2014.
