天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 Staff Party on the afternoon of 27 July is an opportunity for us to celebrate the successes of our University over the last 60 years.
As part of the celebrations, three of our academics will be sharing their world-changing research through staff lectures on the morning of the party. This will be a great opportunity to find out more about some of the incredible research that we carry out here at 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 and about the impact it’s having around the world.
These lectures are open to all members of staff on a first come first served basis. You can attend one, or stay for all three.
You are welcome to just turn up on the day, but please email thevoice@southampton.ac.uk if you have any special access requirements. Please remember to discuss with your line manager in advance.
All three lectures will take place in the large lecture theatre on the ground floor of the Health Sciences building (67). The line-up is:
9.30am – Dr Graeme Earl from Archaeology delivers his lecture: ‘Portus and the Digital Humanities: Multidisciplinary Research in Cultural Heritage’
10.30am – Professor Ajit Shenoi, Director of the new 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 Marine and Maritime Institute, delivers: ‘Light… but strong and safe? The?design of plastic ships and boats’
