Hybrid Nanophotonics is a new emerging research area at the interface of traditional optoelectronics and quantum technologies. Hybrid structures made from organic and inorganic, metallic and semiconductor, crystal and amorphous materials demonstrate remarkable optical properties and open ways to a rich variety of applications in renewable energy, information and communication technologies – in any area where light-matter coupling is important.

The goal of the workshop is to discuss and analyse the fundamental physical properties and applications of novel hybrid photonic devices that address the global strategy for improved energy efficiency.
