The University Library offers a one-to-one Deskside Training service for staff and research postgraduates only.

We aim to provide training and guidance in the use of e-journals, e-books, bibliographic databases and many of the information resources available on the web – all at a time and place convenient to you. Typically we can spend from ten minutes up to one hour in a session.We recognise that researchers need access to a wide range of online resources, many of which are provided by the Library – yet researchers are also extremely busy, so finding the time to get advanced training in everything that the Library has to offer can be difficult.
