On 27 September 2014 between 10.00 and 14.00, the Confucius Institute at the University will host a whole day event featuring Mandarin Chinese Language Tasters and a variety of performances and workshops showcasing aspects of Chinese culture.

You will be able to appreciate a Chinese lion dance, Chinese dynastic costume display, a Chinese instrument ensemble as well as folk dances and material arts. Chinese workshop session will include a choice of calligraphy, Thaichi, Opera mask painting, paper cutting, traditional games, dances and music. You can see a timetable of the day’s activities here.
