Professor Emeritus Taylor will deliver his?lecture entitled “Material and Meaning in Modern Art”, a talk about the three-way?relations between material, making and meaning in one important branch of modern pictorial and sculptural art, roughly that defined by terms such as ‘construction’, ‘composition’ and ‘structure’.
