We are very pleased to confirm that the University has today received notification from the Universities and Colleges Union (UCU) that their members have voted to accept the joint proposal developed as part of the ongoing negotiations relating to Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) pensions reform.

Consequently, UCU have confirmed that the dispute has been resolved and the planned industrial action will not resume.

Discussions will continue between UUK and UCU regarding the next steps of the consultation process and we will share further information on progress as it becomes available.
