Last month, the 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载?Taekwondo Club (SUTKD) took a team of 28 students to Worcester Arena for the 29th Student National Taekwondo Championships.

天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 student competitors are all coached by other current students or alumni of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 and, this year, were up against 359 other competitors from 41 other universities. The team?managed to defend their?title, winning the patterns (poomsae) shield, the full contact?sparring (kyorugi) shield and took home the shield for overall national champions.

天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 secured a total of 17 medals – 11 bronzes, 3 silvers and 3 golds.

SUTKD President, Sophie Carr said,

“I seriously cannot articulate well enough how proud I am of every member of my team. Everyone worked incredibly hard coming up to the competition and it showed over the weekend. There is a reason why 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 keep winning Nationals!”

Sophie went on to congratulate team member?Amy Wootten for her hard work and training all year, resulting in silver in team patterns and gold in sparring. Sophie also wanted to specifically congratulate?Juulia Zumer, who won 6 of her 7 fights at the weekend across both disciplines, narrowly missing out gold in full contact?sparring to add to her two other golds.
