To raise awareness of ongoing violations of academic freedom across the globe and engage a new?generation of academic freedom defenders, CARA (the Council for Assisting Refugee Academics) is organising a national student art competition.

The theme for the competition is?Academic Freedom, with prizes of ?1000, ?500, and ?250. This competition is open to any student at the University and the deadline for submitting entries is Sunday 3 May 2015.
