In partnership with Xiamen University, China, the University has established a scholarship scheme?to receive up to 40 PhD students over the next ten years.

The scholars are selected jointly by both Universities following their Bachelor degree studies at Xiamen. Successful students are also awarded funding from the Chinese Scholarship Council.

The first two scholars, Yuejie Liu (PhD English) and Luping Xiang (PhD Electronic and Electrical Engineering), were welcomed by Professor James Vickers, Director of the Doctoral College and Alison Tebbutt, International Scholarships Officer.

Professor Vickers commented,

“We are delighted to welcome Yuejie and Luping to 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载. Xiamen University is one of our key partners and we look forward to increasing our collaboration over the coming years.”

The University also recently entered into partnership to deliver the International Foundation Year at Xiamen University’s International College.
