Careers and Employability and Enabling Services won two awards at the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Service (AGCAS) Awards for Excellence which took place earlier this month.

The AGCAS Awards for Excellence encourage, reward and share good practice amongst HE careers and employability practitioners, and their partner organisations, by promoting high-quality, creative and innovative projects.

Careers and Employability won the AGCAS Award for Academic Engagement for their partnership work with Grosvenor and the School of Geography. The University established a partnership with Grosvenor Britain & Ireland at the beginning of the academic year 2015/16. Grosvenor are ‘placemakers’ renowned for the developments of Mayfair and Belgravia, and are completing the new cultural quarter development in the heart of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载.

天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载’s aim of being the UK’s city of culture in 2029 means this development is of significant interest to academics within the School of Geography. Collaboratively they explored ways to engage Grosvenor with academia and employability at the University.

Careers and Employability and Enabling Services also won the AGCAS Award for Partnership. This was awarded for a partnership that has facilitated the successful transition of disabled students into graduate roles, as well as effectively developing disabled students’ confidence and appreciation of the labour market.

These awards draw attention to the outstanding partnerships that are being established across campus to ensure an excellent student experience.
