Student Services?are today launching the?Aspire Awards with a stall on the Student Union concourse.
Up to ten awards of ?1,000 each will be given?to successful applicants whose projects will fulfil one or more of the following aims:
- To enhance their cultural development
- To broaden their educational development
- To enhance their course of study
- To have a positive impact on society
Applicants must be active and enrolled students from one of the following groups of people:
- From low income backgrounds (the assessed household income should be no more than ?25,000)
- In receipt of the University’s Student Support Fund in 2016/17
- Mature students
- Independent students
- Care-leavers
- Students with a disability
