Watching live TV or BBC iPlayer? You need a TV Licence

If you’re watching live TV or BBC iPlayer, you need to have a TV Licence.

Data released by TV Licensing?has revealed that, from September 2016 August 2017, 864 individuals between the ages of 18 and 25 across Hampshire were caught watching without a license, with 278 of those individuals living in 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载.

Those watching live TV, or BBC programmes on iPlayer (on any device) without a licence?could face prosecution and a fine of up to ?1,000 if caught.

Confused about whether you need to buy an individual license? Take a look at our list below:

  • If you live in halls of residence and watch live TV or iPlayer programmes in your room, you need your own Licence.
  • If you live in shared housing under a separate tenancy agreement and watch TV or iPlayer programmes in your room, you need your own Licence.
  • If you live in shared housing with a joint tenancy agreement, you only need one Licence for the entire household.
