Organised by the Parkes Institute at the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载, the event was hosted at the Spark Building at 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 Solent University.
In attendance were the mayors from both?天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 and Romsey, University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 alumnus, former member of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) Dr Emmanuel Ngwa, and Michael Mawle of the 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 branch of the United Nations Association.
The programme included a keynote speech by Dr Ngwa who spoke about the Rwandan genocide of 1994. Guests at the event on January 25 also considered presentations from students from Itchen College who had met Walter Kammerling, a survivor of the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp.
