The Sport and Wellbeing team?is hosting a Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster course for students and staff from Saturday 17 February?to Sunday 11 March 2018.
This advanced course is for experienced skippers, and will provide them with the theoretical knowledge required for the Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Practical Examination.
It is recommended that candidates have prior knowledge to the level of day skipper or equivalent, as this course requires a high level of independent work. This will give participants the navigational theory required to complete the Coastal Skipper Course, as well as the Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore practical exams.
The course runs on the following dates from 09:00 to 17:00:
- Saturday 17 February
- Sunday 18 February
- Saturday 24?February
- Saturday 3?March
- Saturday 10?March
- Sunday 11?March.
