A team of library staff have created an online course aimed at new postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students: Introduction to research methods

The course starts with an introductory video by Professor Anna Barney, Pro Vice Chancellor (Education). The course goes on to feature engaging content, videos and self-directed interactive online learning activities and is divided into the following sections:-

• What it is to be a researcher and working with your supervisor
• Planning your research
• Academic and ethical integrity in research
• Doing a literature review
• Managing your?project
• Managing your research data
