These changes have been agreed with UNISON and Unite following positive discussions over the winter, and a successful ballot of their members affected by the proposed change in March and April.

The move will see the University introduce a revised pay scale, which will now start at spine point 6 (?9.42 per hour), with associated changes to the pay ranges for Levels 1a, 1b and 2a. Affected employees will receive letters shortly explaining what these changes mean for them individually.
