The Fightback: social action vs 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 is a new conversation series hosted by the Social Impact Lab and begins on?Tuesday 27 October?at?17:00.

Each episode will be profiling examples from around the UK and beyond of social action in the face of the 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 pandemic. They are keen to understand what forms of new social action emerged during the pandemic, what was already occurring, and how social entrepreneurs and innovators adapted to the challenges brought by 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载.

The first guest of the new series is Professor Sri Kandiah. Sri is a mentor, coach, counsellor and a well-being champion for the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载. During the pandemic, he’s volunteered at Grace Kitchen, where he and fellow colleagues have been collecting food and toiletry donations to help feed the homeless in the 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 and Portsmouth area. He’s also been holding wellbeing sessions since November 2019 (virtually since March) every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 on Microsoft Teams. Professor Sri has been practising mindfulness, meditation, yoga and other spiritually related activities for many years.
