Dear Colleagues,
天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 University financial statements for 2020-21 are published today and are available here.
Despite the continuing financial pressures presented by the 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 pandemic, the University delivered a strong financial performance, ending the year on 31 July 2021 with a surplus of ?18.2 million, and an underlying surplus, before actuarial losses from pension schemes and without the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) accrual, of ?11.4 million.
It is testament to the strong financial management of the University at every level, and careful control of expenditure, that a surplus was achieved during a challenging period, which saw some reductions and deferrals in international tuition fee income, and more than ?4M refunded to students unable to take up their allocated University 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载

This continues to be the result of a concerted effort across our entire staff community to remain vigilant, and I would like to thank all our staff for their role in this, as I know it has not always been easy.
Best wishes,
Sarah Pook
