We announced the sad news of the death of Dr Maurits De Planque, Deputy Head of School (Education) Electronics and Computer Science recently.

Colleagues close to Maurits have organised an event to remember him on Wednesday 12?October 2022 at Highfield. Members of Maurits’ family will attend as guests of ECS.

The commemoration will involve talks from his family as well as colleagues celebrating his many contributions to the University and to our lives. This will be followed by a reception in the Garden Court.
