We’re excited to announce an evolution to the University’s procurement process.
Building on your feedback, we have redesigned our procurement process to simplify and enhance your procurement experience.
With key updates to our procurement policy (Finance Policy 15), and increased use of existing corporate systems, we’re streamlining procurement support and aligning purchaser-led processes where appropriate.

What this means for you
We’ve refreshed our procurement processes to deliver a more streamlined service – increasing efficiency, strengthening compliance, and giving purchasers greater autonomy to manage low-value, low-risk purchases.
We’re also leveraging the University’s corporate platform – ServiceNow – to introduce a one-door system: a single point of access and customer interface for all your purchasing needs. You will be able to initiate and follow up on requests directly from the platform, making the process simpler and easier to navigate.
When?
We’ll be sharing more information in July. You can also sign up to our Procurement Roadshows to hear more details about how these changes will benefit you! Changes are scheduled to go live in August.
What do I need to do?

Some departments may also be invited to attend tailored sessions relevant to their area, in addition to the University-wide roadshows.
