Price Match Guarantee: Clarity Business Travel

Clarity Travel provide the University with highly competitive rates within the travel market, giving bookers and travellers the assurance they’re obtaining the best price for their travel in addition to Clarity’s service benefits.

Occasionally, due to market fluctuations, bookers may come across a lower price for the same booking through alternative travel providers. To ensure value and confidence in our partnership, Clarity offers a Price Match Guarantee to all University bookers and travellers.

In the event a booker finds a better price for the same travel arrangements within 30 minutes of accepting a Clarity quote, Clarity will match and book the same flight/hotel/internal rail price.

To qualify for the Price Match Guarantee, the quote must:

  • Be from a fully bonded travel retailer or airline / hotel website (price comparison sites i.e. Skyscanner are excluded as these are not live availability);
  • The quote must be like-for-like (same date/time, class of travel/room type, fare rules and restrictions, payment arrangements, currency, include the same extras i.e. baggage)

Comparisons are exclusive of;

  • Any credit card charges, supplier distribution charges and/or Clarity Booking fees;
  • Fares/rates not available at the time of the quote;
  • No form of recompense will be paid retrospectively; Clarity will book the alternative flight/hotel/rail if the price guarantee challenge is upheld.
  • Clarity do not use online rental marketplace companies such as Airbnb or Vrbo.
  • Clarity are unable to match personal membership rates.

Claim Process

Claims must be emailed to pricematch@claritybt.com quoting ‘price match’ in the subject line and any Clarity booking reference.

Include a copy of quote or screenshot to enable Clarity to verify against the terms & conditions.

Screenshots/Quotes must include:

  • Date and time of comparison
  • Detailed price
  • Service provider (i.e. airline/hotel/rail)
  • Dates/times of travel
  • Destination
  • Flight timings
  • Class of travel/room type
  • Fare/rate conditions/restrictions (e.g. change/cancellation charges/policy)
  • Hotel board basis (e.g. B&B)
  • Type of traveller (e.g. child or adult)
  • Number of travellers

Please note this service is available during Clarity’s operational hours of 08.30hrs – 18.00hrs, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
