天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 Enterprise Development Fund (SEDF) is open to all Education, Reasearch and Enterprise (ERE) staff and provides a modest amount of funding in order to achieve a commercial step or milestone, including enterprise activities for social good, as part of a larger commercial plan. The overall aim of the funding is to enable researchers to work towards licensing a research output, or move towards launching a university spinout company.
This fund is to support and enable the commercial application of existing research along varied commercialisation pathways such as licensing or company creation (spinouts or social ventures) or any other commercialisation routes. Note, this fund does not support fundamental or curiosity driven research.
Previously funded awards were used by awardees to:
- Create/refine a minimum viable product or demonstrator
- Pay for market reports or focused consultancy studies
- Attend trade shows for market validation
- Enable product/field testing
- Enable a data validation step

If these funds are not allocated due to insufficient eligible applications, then the remaining money will be distributed as normal.
Up to 25% of the funds will be allocated to support eligible projects where the PI is commercialising research for the first time within the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载.
