WiSET Award Ceremony & Diversity Network Showcase

WiSET Awards - Wednesday 9 May

The University Women in Science, Engineering & Technology (WiSET ) group would like to invite all staff and students to this year's WiSET Award Ceremony. Following the ceremony everyone will have an opportunity to network with WiSET and several of the other University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 diversity network groups over?a wine reception with nibbles.

The 2018 WiSET Awards recognise and reward exceptional contributions of individuals across the university who have worked to raise the profile and participation of women in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine), and made an outstanding contribution to supporting women in academia above and beyond the requirements of their formal role. They received a high number of outstanding nominations and would like to congratulate the nominees:

The winners of this year’s award are Emma Osborne and Rebecca French , who will receive a cash prize and a WiSET Award Trophy.

The award ceremony will start at 14:00 on Wednesday 9th May in L/T B, in the Physics Building (46/2003), Highfield Campus . Guests will then be invited into the foyer space outside L/T B, to enjoy some food and drink, whilst having a chance to mingle with the other diversity network groups.

  • 14:05 Introduction of WiSET Awards and previous winners
  • 14:15 Announcement of 2018 winner’s
  • A reception will follow in the Physics building foyer.
