Every year we run the Mathematics Challenge for schoolchildren in Year 10 or below. Take part with as many as 1700 other students!

We are involved in a wide range of outreach activities for schools, pupils, and the general public. These include lectures at schools, competitions, and a number of annual events designed to increase engagement with and enjoyment of mathematics.

Science and Engineering Festival
We take part in the university's annual, award-winning science festival. Join us digitally during British Science Week or in person on 7th May 2022.
STAG Research Centre

SUMS Enrichment Day
We run one-day events for Year 12 girls interested in studying maths or related subjects at university
