Catheter users

If you are an intermittent catheterisation user, or if you care for someone who uses intermittent catheterisation, you may be interested to know more about?this important, NHS-funded?Trial.? We thank you for your interest and look forward to hearing from you!

To take part you must:

  • be?18 or older
  • have been using intermittent catheteriation to pass urine for at least 6 weeks and plan to do so for at least 12 months
  • catheterise through your urethra
  • be willing to give written consent to take part

You would not be?able to take part if you:

  • are?younger than 18 years
  • catheterise through a Mitrofanoff
  • are pregant or planning to get pregnant during the period you would be on the trial
  • are an employee,?or relation of an employee, of a catheter company
  • are taking part in another trial
  • are in the terminal stages of an illness
