Arriving in the UK

Meet and Greet airport services

• free Meet and Greet service for students arriving to study in the UK for the first time
• free coach transfer service only for students staying in University Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ
• the Meet and Greet team will be at the airport assisting you with your journey to Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ or Winchester.

The service is available at:

• London Heathrow Airport (LHR)
• London Gatwick Airport (LGW)

How it works

Meet and Greet signposting service

• our Meet & Greet team will meet you in the Arrivals Hall
• they will signpost you to either the University coach transfer service (bookable)
• or onward to your public transport

University coach transfer for those staying in University Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ

The coach will take you and your luggage to your University hall in Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ or Winchester.

You can't take anyone else with you on the coach, unless you're a PhD student arriving with your spouse or children.

You can book for the following dates:

• Wednesday 14 May 2025 (Booking closes 10 May
• Wednesday 18 June 2025 (Booking closes 11 June)
• Wednesday 9 July 2025 (Booking closes on 2 July)

There are a limited number of places available to book for each day.

If you're arriving on another date, or you don¡¯t book in time, you¡¯ll have to make your own way to your Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ.

Luggage

The amount of luggage you can bring is limited to:

• 2 large suitcases
• 1 item of hand luggage
• 1 rucksack or laptop bag

There is no room for additional luggage on the Meet and Greet coach.

Spaces are limited and once we are full, we will close the booking slot.

Book your seat on the coach

• Wednesday 15 May 2024 (Booking closes 8 May)
• Wednesday 19 June 2024 (Booking closes 12 June)
• Wednesday 10 July 2024 (Booking closes on 3 July

Bookings must be made by the closing date.

National Express Coach Service

London Heathrow and Gatwick

If you arrive after the last coach or taxi service you can take a National Express coach to Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ Central Coach Station.

You can find the National Express coaches by following signs or asking at Heathrow and Gatwick¡¯s Information Desk.

National Express coaches run throughout the night.

At Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ International airport please book a taxi to your Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ.

If using National Express, when you get to Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ you will need to take a taxi to your University or private Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖÆåÅÆ_Ìì·¢ÓéÀÖAPP-¹ÙÍø|ÏÂÔØ.
