This virtual workshop has been designed to support line managers to become more effective when managing their team members remotely.?The workshop consists of two sessions?over the course of a single day.??The morning session will last two hours from 10am-12pm and the afternoon session 2pm-4pm, with a 2 hour break in between.?Participants are expected to attend both?and need to allow 20 minutes to prepare an activity for session 2 during the break.

Participants will focus on developing their skills to:

• Identify key challenges and barriers when managing remotely
• Use a model to recognise difference and minimise the impact of negative conflict
• Build trust and improve communication across barriers
• Clarify and manage expectations
