- The concepts of risk in health and social care.
- Contemporary occupational therapy approaches and their relevance to day-to-day occupational therapy practice.
- Use a top-down approach to develop an occupational profile for a range of people.

- Demonstrate effective use of core occupational therapy interventions.
- Demonstrate how you assess a range of people, with regards to client-centred practice and individual needs.
- Reflect on the act of immersing oneself in a range of occupational experiences.
- Demonstrate the ability to evaluate interventions and the added value of occupational therapy.
