Tengjiao Xu is a Postgraduate Researcher based in 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 Law School. Her research focuses on International Trade Law, Maritime Law and Technology Law.
Tengjiao has served as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Maritime Law, an editor for 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 Student Law Review, and is the Law PGR Student Representative. She has published her work on Lloyd’s Shipping and Trade Law and is a member of China Maritime Law Association since 2020.
Tengjiao’s current research focuses on Electronic Bills of Lading.
Electronic documents are increasingly common with the development of technology, but there is a lack of regulation in various jurisdictions around the world. The relationship between paper documents and their electronic versions has not been well clarified. Her study is based on various methods to better investigate the regulation of electronic documents, especially electronic bills of lading.
Tengjiao’s teaching interests focus on International Trade Law, Maritime Law and International Economic Law, based on her experience as a Teaching Assistant on the LLM programme in Peking University.
Before joining the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 as a postgraduate researcher, Tengjiao studied at Peking University in Beijing and achieved her Master of International Economic Law (LLM) in July 2021.
Tengjiao has academic experience, serving as a Visiting Researcher for Centre for Maritime Law at National University of Singapore, a Research Assistant and a Teaching Assistant in Peking University from 2019 to 2021. She also has professional experience, working as an inetrn in UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law) in 2023, an intern in Beijing Dentons Law Office, an intern clerk in Zibo Intermediate People’s Court and a Legal & Commercial intern in Sina Corporation. Tengjiao won PKU’s University Awards 2 years in a row. She also got her Bachelor of Law (LLB) and passed her PRC National Judicial Examination.
