Fatih Durmaz’s current research examines autonomous vessels in the context of maritime security law.
Fatih Durmaz’s PhD, funded by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education, focuses on autonomous vessels in the Maritime Security context.
His PhD questions whether current rules of international law of the sea regulating maritime security account for autonomous ships. In other words, his thesis examines whether autonomous vessels can be within the scope of current maritime security law.
