Ashish Dwivedi is a Film and Animation researcher, creative editor, and writer, currently based at the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 where he is researching the cinema(s) of Guru Dutt towards his doctorate. He holds an M.Phil. from Swansea University, where he authored a polysemic criticism of children's animations against theories of socialisation and edutainment.
He currently researches around early popular Bombay cinema, stardom studies, archival studies, politics of memory, animation-utopian Studies, Indian Aesthetics, and modern literary theory, while enjoying creativity that interplays the triumvirate of tragedy, satire, and liberation. His work has featured in a range of academic and creative publications, including Afterimage, Film-Philosophy, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Café Dissensus, E-Cine India, Muse India, Silhouette Magazine, Poetry Pacific, and Bandit Fiction, among other places.
