Current research
Currently, he is working on the validation of high-resolution Vegetation Phenology and Productivity (HR-VPP) satellite products using ground-based observations to improve the reliability of satellite-derived phenological metrics. He is also using remote sensing data and cloud-based platforms to monitor drought conditions in data-scarce regions, with the goal of supporting early warning systems and sustainable land management.
