Chemical Biology, Diagnostics and Therapeutics

We contribute to the progress of new developments in healthcare, the environment, bioenergy systems and bio-nanotechnology.

About

The Chemical Biology, Diagnostics and Therapeutics group has been replaced by the Organic and Biological Chemistry group.

天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 group's research across both chemistry and biology means we are multidisciplinary by nature. We investigate the properties of a wide range of biomolecules, including DNA, proteins, lipids and carbohydrates. These can range from small synthetic models to biologically-derived macromolecular (large molecule) complexes.

We regularly work in collaboration within the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载, with other institutions or with industrial partners.

天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 current research projects include:

  • enzyme catalysis
  • protein-protein interactions
  • post-translational modifications
  • lipidomics
