Among our recent publications are Alice Hunt’s Republic: Britain’s Revolutionary Decade and Kevin Brazil’s Whatever Happened to Queer Happiness?

We run and judge the Philip Hoare Prize for Non-Fiction, established in 2025 to celebrate the achievements and spirit of our much-loved colleague.
Graduating MA students edit, publish and publicise Avenues, an annual anthology of their best creative writing.
