About us
Critical Infrastructures and Image Politics (CIIP) is a research group based in the Department of Art and Media Technology at Winchester School of Art.
天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 work combines practice-based artistic research and media theoretical scholarship, to engage critically with the politics and representation of contemporary technologies. We focus on feminist, decolonial and activist-led approaches, to repair algorithmic technocultural biases.
In a convergent media landscape, images have become infrastructural, and representation has become computational. The distinctions between digital and visual cultures, or between technological and ecological questions, are increasingly blurred. 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 transdisciplinary and collaborative approach allows us to explore broader critical perspectives.
We were founded in 2023 by co-directors Alexandra Anikina, Stephen Cornford, Kwame Phillips and Megen de Bruin-Molé. 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 group builds on the legacy of Archaeologies of Media and Technology.
